Keeping software up to date is important. It makes sure the software is working at it’s best before it needs to be used.
Zoom is a great example of the need to update. We have all used Zoom or software like it during the last 18 months with online meetings.
How many times did you fire it up the software for a meeting and an issue with the camera or sound came up. When you installed the updates, the issue went away. By updating the software once a month, you can insure it works when you need it and not have your meetings delayed or interrupted.
Zoom specifically has developed a policy going into effect November 1, requiring all software be within 9 months of release.

To update your software:
Run the Zoom App
Sign in
In the upper right hand corner where your name is left click
Left click on the Check for Updates
Follow the instructions.
